Hello. I’m a freelance graphic designer and I specialize in print and packaging. How I got into design is kind of a long story - I’d be happy to share it some other day - but I think in the end I was just drawn to it. Nothing else fascinated me in quite the same way. And as a kid I spent lots of time staring at cereal boxes at breakfast so it’s no wonder I’m now designing packages.

I like designing packages more than anything else because they’re a huge challenge. Sometimes packages are nice boxes with flat surfaces ready for art, but sometimes they’re odd-shaped plastic things with very limited space and odd curves. It’s a problem solver’s dream. And packages have to compete for attention constantly. Poor things. I make sure to give them lots of attention before they leave me.
