New site design for WAJC?

Just a very short post. First of all apologies to those of you who have submitted articles for posting here on WAJC. Frankly, I have devoted the last week or so to both the new site design for IJC and ofcourse the surprised inception of Soultweet. So I plan to get a posting schedule back on track as soon as possible so just hang in there.
The main reason for this post is to ask you for opinions on this.
Should I use the new custom theme on IJC and make a version for WAJC? Obviously changing the main splash colour, but in most other respects, keeping the site fresh and clean and with some branding consistency with IJC.
I’m really in two minds about it and need to throw it open to your lot. I first thought this design currently in use would be perfect, but frankly it’s not really up to the job and is a little awkward and time consuming to create posts etc.
I can see the IJC theme looking really smart, but then again, maybe it should not be too similar. Some say it should some say it shouldn’t.
I guess the question is, what would you like to see presenting any posts that you may contribute? It is after all a community site, so really the community should have their say. :)

I’m one for consistency in branding… since IJC and WAJC are related sites and part of your own brand, I would use the new IJC site design - as you say, with tweaks to reflect the WAJC color scheme, etc. I love the new look of IJC so I say go with that one!
Either way, you’ve got some great stuff coming out of both sites, so Congrats! :)

Selene-> Yeah, im pleased you feel that way, about the site theme. part of me wanted to keep it distinct from IJC, but then the name is similar, so really bit of a strange one.
I want to be able to show off the guest posts in the best possible way, and I feel the new site design is much nicer way, which includes yours which i HAVE not forgotten about. :)

LOL, trust me, I know how it is… I’ve got about a dozen draft posts on my own site that I’ve started and haven’t quite finished, etc. No worries! :)
I love the new IJC design and think it would be great here too. Maybe if the names were different, but it seems like one brand, so I say keep it together!

I guess the question is, for those who have or will submit articles to WAJC, how would you like them presented?
Do you really care? Or is it something that actually might encourage you to post more if the site design is more enticing etc?

I’m glad that the IJC and WAJC site designs have been so well received.
