There is only reason for this post. That is to help my buddy Rogie King (@rogieking on Twitter) win the awesome Coolest Blog Powered by Wordpress Blog competition, only a few days remaining.

This is definitely not about me blindly asking peope to vote for something I don’t truely believe in myself, far from it.

This is a work of art

The Komodomedia website is a sight to behold and is full of life and vitality. It is one of a few websites that when you arrive for the first time and subsequent times, it almost feels alive. There are a few buttons and various switches to pull for some web site interaction, similar to Homer with the remote control for the garage. :)

I believe it’s called the Foliage Meter, but you ought to check that out for yourself.

It’s full of detail yet in no way overwhelming. A perfect balance of form and content, serious and light-hearted, professional and fun. It oozes class with technical precision.

The best bit

There are heaps of prizes on offer for the winners etc, but Rogie has pledge to, if he wins ofcourse, to give them all away. Yes he wants to win, yes he believes he deserves it but that’s as far as it goes. He truly is good at what he does and the Komodomedia website is proof of this. I guess it’s a self esteem thing, which we all need and want from time to time. Can you blame him?

You can read what he has to say about the competition on his article http://www.komodomedia.com/blog/2008/11/vote-the-coolest-wp-blog/

As Rogie points out :

It is blog that talks about Design, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, WordPress and random bits of my life offering freebies and tutorials as well.
On the side: im sort of a freak and very human wwith a sense of humor I would like to think is great. I follow up with my readers and they are very important to me.

Rogie has created this banner, although the days are running out, any visible placement of this would be awesome. There isn’t much time yet and Rogie is VERY close to catching up with the current 1st spot, so this is very much a case of every single vote counts.

And?

Of course it’s all well and good me just talking about it, and you thinking about it. What needs to happen is that you all go over to the competition website, take everything in and vote. Clearly we can’t force you to do anything, let alone visit the site, let alone vote and let alone vote for Rogie, but in this case, I think it’s all good stuff and Rogie deserves it.

And let’s put this into perspective, some of us will blindly vote-up, DIGG, Stumble, Float or Bump articles just because we are asked, without even reading the posts. However, this website IS quality and does deserve to be voted. Ofcourse, in my own humble opinion.

[...] Graham Smith of We Are Just Creative wrote a lengthy and very heartfelt post. I’m totally stunned by how kind his words were and the amount of time that he took to promote Komodo Media. Thanks Graham! [...]

Although the dog was dog shoes principally associated dog shoes with The Shoe it is also recorded that it made appearances througout the parish of North Wraxall. The dog shoes village of Ford has a parish narrate from April, 1794 that claims the dog was heard secondary the vicarage by before the death of Richard Wooley, the vicar. http://www.lovelonglong.com
