Who would of thought it. Well, I didn’t for sure. Frankly, never really totally got into FaceBook, I was always turned off by the myriad of Super Pokes, Wall this and Super Wall that, and about every conceivable application that could be made, was made. I always kept a profile on there, and routed my various feeds etc to keep it active. It was a minor presence.

But of late, I have felt that FaceBook has ‘matured’, at least from my warped perspective. I like the new look, and it feels better. I have also been giving it more one-on-one which always helps, pruning down my notifications, refusing and blocking various applications that do little for my pulse rate

Today, I decided to create one of the Uber Lists for FaceBook. I was also influenced by the fact that I had been using the iPhone FaceBook application probably more than the main website. Go figure.

To cut a long story, a little shorter than I could easily make it, Franz Jeitz aka ferdinand aka Fudge Graphics suggested making a FaceBook Group instead. What a top idea I thought, and immediately, and I mean immediately, set about doing it.

3 hours later there are close to 80 users already. I am stunned by the response and just goes to show ‘me’ how utterly popular FaceBook is. I was wrong.

So if you do not know what I am blabbering about, head over to WeAreJustCreative - WAJC FaceBook Group and join up.

Share photos, images, art, views, chat, links, insights anything you want. I mentioned somewhere that this is about ‘you’ rather than what ‘you’ do. That it would be cool to see the more personal fun side of all the creatives that are involved, most of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting through Twitter.

WAJC on Facebook is off to a great start. I hope other designers participate and help build a great community. Thanks for taking the initiative Graham. And yes, a lot of people use Facebook. Though I admit, not as much as I should.

Congratulations, again, for rallying the designers together. I’ve also been very hands-off when it comes for Facebook - just something else to manage when I’d rather be creating projects for my clients.
